Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC) and its subsidiaries commit to be a good corporate citizen and conduct business with fairness in all the business dealings and relationships. Bribery and corruption are not only illegal and bad business practice, they are also sustainable and ethically unacceptable.

SCCC participated in the Thai Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption (CAC) first time in 2017 as part of the effort of the private sector to act against corruption. The Company met the commitments to the CAC declaration on anti-corruption by putting in place good business principles and control against bribery. The accreditation is valid for 3 years. SCCC was recertified as a member of the CAC for the second time in June 2023. This is another milestone which reflects the commitment to conduct business with transparency and adherence to good governance.

The Company has no violations or penalties related to CAC compliance.

SCCC and its subsidiaries have adopted the No Gift Policy and committed to doing the business with transparency and the highest standards of integrity in accordance with the principles of the good corporate governance to reduce corruption, avoid conflicts of interest, and create a transparent culture. The No Gift Policy states that our employees are not allowed to receive anything of value from our current or potential customers, vendors agents or business partners on any occasions.

WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL

SCCC and its subsidiaries are committed to the highest standards of integrity and depend on its employees and other stakeholders to report violations or potential violations of the Group Code of Business Conduct, unlawful conduct, or unethical conduct towards business partners so that the company can take appropriate action and remedy the situation.

The Company strictly maintains the confidentiality of the incident and the details of the whistleblower. The whistleblowers can report actual or suspected violations anonymously. They shall be protected from any retaliation at all times, including the cases of suspicious misconduct, which have been reported in good faith but proven false later. However, the whistleblowers are encouraged to submit factual information, as far as possible, for a thorough and meaningful investigation.
